Here are the maps of the route we will be taking.

The West Buttress

Climb for a Cure will follow the West Buttress Route: the triangles show primary camp sites; the squares, alternative camp sites. Climb for a Cure will fly from Talkeetna to the Southeast Fork of the Kahiltna Glacier

Upper West Buttress

The Upper West Buttress: our summit attempt will be launched from High Camp at 16,200 or the 17,200 foot camp. This is the windiest and coldest of the camps and the most exhausting to build. From here, it is 2.5 miles to the summit. Most Climbing falls on Denali occur on the Denali pass traverse.(The white arrows indicate avalanche paths.)
